Hello Art Fans,
Summer swept by so quickly, I’m excited to embrace Autumn. Of course, I’m
getting ready to Put out my Dia de Muertos altar. I have lost too many people
again, I cry when I put out names and photos and again, when I put the things
away. The time in between is festive.
As much as I want to finish my Halo series, finish my one big canvas I’m busy
stitching smaller works for the holiday shopping season . The little canvases and
notebooks with my designs on them, are for sale at Made Local Marketplace in Old
Town, Novato. Portraits are still available at Imagiknit in the Castro district of San
Francisco.
I have no current art on display and I am sad to have missed participating in
ArtSpan’s San Francisco’s Open Studios. I’m sort of still dealing with the loss of
my main supporter, husband Scott. I was the artiste and he was my biggest fan
and even after a hard day’s work at the Pawn Shop, he brought me and artwork to
all the art shows.
Wishing a happy Fall to all!
